Ride Date: Thursday June 11th

Ride Times: 12:30 (Wade Thomas) to 4:30 (Creekside Park)

Location: Meeting at Wade Thomas and ending in Creekside Park

Who: Lower School mountain bikers

On this Minimum day ride, we will be meeting at Wade Thomas at 12:30 and heading onto Mt. Tam. We’ll break into groups with some of us making it to Lake Lagunitas and others making it up to Indian Fire Road. Before heading down the mountain and meeting parents at Creekside Park in San Anselmo.

This will be a long day, so please pack extra snacks and a high calorie lunch that can be eaten before our ride, as well as lots of water.

Please go over your riders bike with them and address any mechanical issues that may cause problems on the trail. Also, please help your student pack all of their cycling gear including their helmet, bike gloves, a spare tube, lots of food, plenty of water and lights. Also, I recommend a light wind beaker or rain jacket (when appropriate) that can be carried in a pocket. Light weight knee pads, elbow pads and protective eyewear are, also, recommended. For riders who are allergic to poison oak, a single use packet (or reusable small container) of Tecnu is another great thing to pack.
